Alternators (NA, NB, NC, ND)
This page lists the new alternators Moss Miata describes for each generation, and what a Miata.net thread said about replacing one. It is not a repair guide.
How to read it. Seller claims are as read on each seller's own page on 1 October 2026. Owner accounts are from Miata.net forum threads, dated below, and are individual experience, not advice. There are no prices on this page, and nothing here was bought or tested.

Moss's search results also show alternators for the 1999-2000 NB and a water pump and alternator belt; I did not open those pages. I found no Moss alternator listing for the NC after 2008 or the ND after 2022, which may only mean it is listed elsewhere on their site.
What an owner said
- An NB (August 2010). An owner of a 2000 NB asked for a replacement guide. A reply pointed to the factory service manual's short procedure, called the job generally simple, said the wires and cables are keyed so they only go back one way, and stressed disconnecting the battery's negative cable first. (Miata.net thread; I read the first page.)
